Police have the power to stop and search for drugs where they have reasonable grounds to so suspect there being drugs specified in the Misuse of Drugs schedule being in the vehicle (they are authorised to make stops for this purpose).

Currently cultivating, smoking and selling cannabis is a CRIME. The Police exercise a level of discretion with respect to pot smokers (look at how long the Daktory has been allowed to continue). However, at some point this open flouting of the rule of law must be kerbed.

Good on the Police. All you fuckwits going on about ‘STASI’ tactics and the Police pillaging homes to remit the proceeds to the Crown are delusional – lay off the pot.

Great piece of footage DG, it’s interesting to see how police are handling this. Saddening really – all this police time being essentially wasted when there’s actual crime to fight.

i live in the US.. cops hate pot here! they are so aggressive about it that its scary. your country is a wonder that establishments like this one even exist (in America, outside of Denver and California, Americans who don’t smoke fear pot). I love how this was handled, and I hope you don’t have your streets so polluted from now on
