Medicinal Cannabis Bill put to historic First Vote this week

Green Party co-leader Metiria Turei’s private member’s Misuse of Drugs (Medicinal Cannabis) Amendment Bill will be put to a first vote on Member’s Day this Wednesday 1st July 2009.

New Zealand is lagging behind other developed and affluent nations who have already put forth medical cannabis laws.

  • So I made some changes to the main site

The reason for this is because I finally managed to get my FTP working again (which lets me move files on the server with ease) I decided to update WordPress. After I updated WordPress, I realized that it had updated the default theme, which I had edited as the theme of thedaktory.org.nz.

I decided the best idea was to use a new theme for the time being, as my backups were wiped when I managed to format my hard drive on my computer my accident.

So I hope you all like it, it will only be up for a few months until we have the proper Daktory theme finished.

I feel like such a noob now LOL

Why do we lock our citizens in jail for cannabis?

Cannabis prohibition laws are the most evil to be perpetuated against our fellow citizens since the abolition of slavery.

On 20 May 2009, Kiwi Cannabis News Vault (KCNV) were present to film an interview conducted with Dakta Green by Auckland University magazine Craccum.
